If you can create a hyperlink to it, you can add it to a task in Hivelight. One useful application of this is the ability to add simple email templates to Hivelight tasks - whether at the matter level or at the workflow level.

To do this, go to a mailto link generator, such as this one 👉 Mailto link generator.

Enter in the content that you want for the email template.

Click on the 'Generate' button.

Copy the mailto link that is created.

Open a task on a matter or in a Hivelight workflow.

Edit the Task description.

Enter some text (e.g. 'Click here to generate email').

Highlight that text and click on the link icon or press Ctrl+K.

Paste the mailto link in and hit the 'Enter' key on your keyboard.

Save the changes.

Now when anyone clicks on that link it will open their email client and generate an email with the content you entered.
