You can delete milestones on a matter individually or in bulk.

This feature helps you to keep Hivelight clean, with just the tasks and milestones on your matters that you are actually going to use. For example:

  • If you thought you were going to have to litigate the matter but then it settles, you can delete the rest of the litigation milestones and then load a roadmap for settlement and finalising the matter.

  • If you decided that you don't want a certain milestone or roadmap on a matter (e.g. when reviewing your matters after applying some template roadmaps to them when you imported from your practice management system to Hivelight).

To delete an individual milestone select the milestone you want to delete (each dot in the task board progress bar is a milestone - you can also click in between the dots to get a list of all the milestones).

Then click on the milestone options button and select 'delete milestone...'

You'll then have the option to either delete the current selected milestone OR delete the selected milestone and all subsequent milestones (see the checkbox).
