Hivelight allows you to employ an agile approach to developing your roadmaps - this allows for faster, cheaper, better roadmap development.

Edit your roadmap make improvements

When it is time to make some improvements, locate your roadmap.

Open the roadmap, click on the roadmap options button next to the roadmap name. Select 'Edit roadmap'.

Publish to save your changes

Click on the options button next to the roadmap name and select 'Publish roadmap...' to save your changes.

Select whether you want this roadmap to be available just within this workspace ('Workspace'), or to all your workspaces ('Organization'), or to all users of Hivelight ('Public').

Go to any matter that uses this roadmap and update it to the new version

Open the matter. Go to any un-commenced milestone (i.e. where there are no tasks that have been started) and click on the milestone options bar.

Note: Milestones that have tasks that are in 'progress', 'review' or 'done' will not be affected by the update.

Click on the options button in the roadmap box to update this milestone to the new version.

In the 'update milestone' box there is the option to update all the milestones on this matter with the new version of the roadmap (which will also add in any new milestones that were not in the previous version).
