How to edit workspace name, time zone, jurisdictions

When setting up your Hivelight account—or anytime you're adding or updating workspaces—you may want to adjust key workspace settings such as:

  • Workspace Name

  • Time Zone (Important for accurately scheduling task due times)

  • Jurisdictions (Country/Regions where your practice operates)

To update these settings:

  1. Click the Settings (⚙️) icon in the left-hand menu.

  2. You'll be taken directly to the Workspace Details section.

Here, you can modify the following:

  • Workspace Name

  • Country

  • Time Zone

  • Jurisdictions: Select the jurisdictions relevant to your practice. This will define the options available when assigning a jurisdiction to a matter.

  • Matter Types: Choose the types of matters your workspace will handle.

Once you've made the necessary changes, click Save to apply the updates.

⚠️ CAUTION: Avoid clicking Delete unless you intend to permanently remove the workspace.
